MEET THE TEAM
EDITOR-IN-CHIEF
Jordan Lemke is the Editor-in-Chief for Coalesce Magazine. She is very excited to be producing a magazine that will promote positive change, and is proud of the Coalesce staff. She loves hiking, going to the beach and kayaking. She hopes that the Coalesce Magazine will inspire its readers to seek positive change in their own lives and in the lives of those around them.
ASSISTANT EDITOR-IN-CHIEF
Lory Costello-Neeley is the Assistant Editor-in-Chief for Coalesce Magazine. She thrives with the challenging deadlines and enjoys learning while also being creative. She enjoys most outdoor activities including, camping, hiking and raising and riding horses. Her hope is to see positive change transform the world by touching one soul at a time. She also hopes that she leads by example to influence the next generation, including her five children.
ART DIRECTOR
Arielle "Kai" Taramasco is the Art Director for Coalesce Magazine, and institutes positive change in her life by actively avoiding routine, pursuing her deep cultural ties to voyaging and teaching, and actively searching for adventure that involve inspirational people and places. Since implementing a lifestyle that defies routine and requires constantly stepping out of her comfort zone, she has become involved with journalism and group conservation efforts in Hawai'i, West Africa, Southeast Asia and the Continental United States.
ASSISTANT ART DIRECTOR
Mackenzie T. David is the Assistant Art Director at Coalesce Magazine. She is from Seattle Washington and has been published in a literary magazine and a flash fiction website. In working with Coalesce Magazine she has been able to acquire new skills that she hopes to use in other working circles in her future. She tries to institute positive change in her life but trying to be her true self and live authentically.
ONLINE EDITOR
Brooke Anderson is the Online Editor for Coalesce Magazine and has enjoyed learning all about the magazine world. Brooke adores writing, reading and adventuring—no matter if she is exploring outdoors or within a fictional world. She seeks positive change in her life by always being willing to listen or lend a hand to someone who needs it, and shopping at stores and restaurants that are healthy, sustainable, and/or environmentally conscious.
AD DIRECTOR
Yasmeen Espinal is the Advertising Sales Director for Coalesce Magazine. She has been fascinated with magazines since she was young and is looking forward to taking her knowledge from this class and applying it for future jobs. She seeks positive change in her own life by recycling glass, bottles and cans, donating clothes to thrift shops, and shopping at farmers markets.
CO-COPY EDITOR/CIRCULATION MANAGER
Ivey Merrill is a Copy Editor and Circulation Manager for Coalesce Magazine. Right now she's working on a project to fill the platform of a pair of shoes with as many teeth as possible. She strives for positive change in her life through a vegan diet, informed food decisions, and sustainable fashion.
CO-COPY EDITOR/CIRCULATION MANAGER
Ellen Huang is a Copy-Editor/Circulation Manager for Coalesce. Her interests include mythology, animation, musical theatre, and anything to do with venturing out to the ocean. Most recently, she’s written for a new Lenten devotional called “Our Daily Rice” and directed a short film called “Cross the Horizon,” both of which advocate for a diverse representation of faith communities. In her fellowship and storytelling projects, she’s driven toward messages of solidarity, equality, and hope.
